Mediation as an alternative to resolving civil disputes A look at French law
Abstract
Alternative dispute resolution methods have witnessed significant growth in France, where the French legislator has adopted a series of measures aimed at ensuring their development among litigants to the point of making them mandatory in some cases. In view of the recent amendments to French law, which adopted the use of alternative methods for resolving disputes, we find a noticeable development in this field. It was decided to implement innovative practices and immediately implement new tools to develop mediation provided to the judge through the latest legislative and regulatory texts approved in this field.
