Inspection in electronic media

Published: 2025-08-04

Abstract

Cyber forensics is a judicial procedure aimed at collecting evidence from digital devices and systems to combat crimes. This procedure includes examining computers, smartphones, servers, and digital storage media. Cyber forensics requires specialized skills and technical knowledge to ensure the integrity of digital evidence and prevent tampering, thus avoiding its legal loss. This type of forensics faces challenges related to protecting individual privacy, as it must be conducted pursuant to judicial orders with specific scope and timeframes. Cyber forensics also involve the use of advanced tools and techniques to analyze data and extract hidden information, making it a vital component of modern criminal investigations.
