Political Features in the Story of Dhul-Qarnayn "An Analytical Study in Light of Ibn Ashur's Tafsir al-Tahrir wa al-Tanwir"

This research focuses on the features of Islamic politics in the story of Dhul-Qarnayn, as presented by Ibn Ashur in At-Tahrir wa'l-Tanwir. This narrative highlights the features of good governance based on empowerment through means, a commitment to justice and mercy, and consideration of diverse environments and public interests. Ibn Ashur concludes that the Quranic lesson in the story is to control authority through cosmic laws and Islamic legal controls, making it a tool for protecting society and achieving the higher objectives of Islamic law.
