A cybercrime, like any other crime, is considered, once discovered, to be followed up through the three stages of public prosecution. However, the prosecution of cybercrimes soon fades away for several reasons, and then the penalty expires. It is divided into general reasons that apply to all crimes, regardless of their description. As for special reasons, they apply to some crimes but not others. The disappearance of all of them leads to the cessation of the public prosecution, and thus the judiciary will be relieved of the burden of the cases accumulating on it. Some of them are considered an alternative to the public prosecution, and some of them are considered the natural way for its expiration.
