This research examines the methodology of the eminent scholar and exegete Dr. Musa Shahin Lashin (d. 1430 AH) in the science of Qira’at (Quranic recitations) through his renowned work, "Fath al-Mun’im bi Sharh Sahih Muslim." The study highlights the integrated scholarly personality of Sheikh Lashin, who combined expertise in Tafsir and Hadith. It reveals how he utilized Quranic recitations as a linguistic and rhetorical tool to interpret Prophetic texts, clarify obscure vocabulary, and direct jurisprudential meanings. Using inductive and descriptive-analytical methods, the research tracks recitation instances within the commentary and analyzes the Sheikh's scholarly views and preferences. The study concludes that Sheikh Lashin’s methodology favored clarity and simplicity alongside precise citation, leveraging his proficiency in linguistics and Tafsir to link Quranic recitations with the objectives of the Prophetic Sunnah.
