Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, and there is no aggression except against the oppressors, and prayers and peace be upon the most honorable of prophets and messengers, Muhammad, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family and companions, and after that...
Sickness and all other misfortunes, even health and all hardships, are a divine law of trial and examination. The servant is tested in everything; in what pleases him and what he loves, and in what displeases him and what he hates. {And We test you with evil and with good as a trial.}
Sicknesses are among the things with which Allah tests His servants, and they have benefits and wisdom; including: expiation of sins and bad deeds, recording good deeds and raising ranks, and they are a reason for entering Paradise, and they are a blessing and a gift.
